AppleScript and Automator, making a Service on my Mac today. Now when I select any messages and press alt-cmd-G in Mail, the messages archive directly to my Gmail account. This is the best solution for me to keep an archive of all my work email, before now trapped in Exchange, in Gmail for searching later.

Switching to Tumblr
All blog entries before this one were manually copied, one by one, from my WordPress instance hosted on Site5. Today I am switching to Tumblr.

Spring Red Maple
I opened the window looking on the back yard this morning and saw our red maple looking healthy and green. For some reason its spring beauty struck me. So I went into the yard and took this picture.

November Sunday Morning
I woke up early this morning and decided I need to record this most beautiful fall. So here is our red maple in our back yard, backed by a couple rows of loblolly pines. There’s an appropriate chill in the air as I take this picture. I don’t think I’ve seen a prettier fall in Charlotte.
[edit, April 30, 2011] The photo that would be appearing here has been lost. I don’t know why I didn’t have it in other places like iPhoto. I will do better.
[edit, January 13, 2012] While switching to Tumblr, I found the pic.

![Blogging from iPhone
The past few sparse entries I entered with a fancy setup between my iPhone, email, Flickr, and WordPress. Last night I upgraded The Tarblog with WordPress 2.6. And this morning I installed the iPhone WordPress native app. That is what I’m using to tap this new entry. And while I’m at it, I’m going to test the photo support now built into WordPress.
[edit, April 30, 2011] Apparently somewhere along the way the photos I uploaded via the WordPress app back in 2008 got lost.

ESRI User Conference
This is a quick shot I took at the break at 10:30AM. Three screens to handle the estimated 13,000 attendees.

Goofy CJ
I caught this in the parade at The Animal Kingdom yesterday.
